You know the secret to getting that beautiful lawn is dormant seeding in the winter when the lawn goes dormant and the ground is frozen. Just one thing you still have to make soil to soil contact

so the secret is to go around your house now and work the soil now where its bare.

Yes now in November before the ground gets frozen work in the soil rough it up a bt and fill in any soil

if you need to. Also now is also a good time to buy your compost before it sells out. Remember

you have to do these things before the grounds gets frozen when the ground is frozen you wont be able to work in the soil. You also wont be able to cover up or mulch your new seed with compost if you wait until January to buy your compost. So go out and buy your compost now.

I see a lot of people throw seed on the ground and nothing happens and they wonder why!
